Now converted: Large antique drop pendant dated 1876, 18K

A beautiful oversized gold drop in 18K, carrying a faint engraving from 1876 along with the initials PL, the kind of tiny mystery that makes antique pieces so charming. 
It was originally a long decorative stick or hat pin worn in the Victorian era, but my jeweler turned it into a gorgeous dangly pendant using the existing pin (and keeping all hallmarks intact). There’s a small bump near the top, but nothing that distracts from its lovely shape.
