A little Victorian Flower
The tiniest little jewel to emerge from the old brooch, a delicate diamond flower with a creamy pearl at its heart. 🌸
This sweet pendant was created from the original central flower of a circa 1890 Victorian ruby and diamond brooch, the same mother piece that has now been transformed into three new jewels.
At the centre is a luminous pearl, believed to be natural, with a lovely soft, creamy glow. It couldn't be tested by the laboratory because it remains securely set in its original mounting, so there is a little mystery tucked inside this tiny flower.
Surrounding it is a wonderfully sparkly cluster of antique diamonds, their irregular old cuts giving the little flower plenty of life and character.
The generous bail is made from gold reclaimed from the original brooch, giving this tiny new jewel another tangible connection to its former life.
