More than a century later, this heart still has another story to tell.

Beautifully handcrafted around 1905–1915, this exquisite heart is made in 18K yellow gold with a platinum-topped front, showcasing a shimmering collection of old-cut diamonds with an estimated total weight of approximately 2 - 2.5 carats. The largest diamond sits proudly at the center, surrounded by a wonderfully tight pavé of old hand-cut stones that catch the light with a gentle, unmistakably antique glow.

-

The craftsmanship of the pavé setting is exceptional, with each diamond individually placed to create a beautifully fluid and harmonious surface, a testament to the skill of the goldsmith.

-

Turn the brooch over and you'll discover another of its greatest treasures. The beautifully pierced gallery and exceptional hand craftsmanship are every bit as impressive as the front, a reminder that jewels of this quality were created with care from every angle.

-

At some point in its long life, the original brooch fitting was replaced with a 14K gold clip mechanism, allowing the heart to continue being worn and loved for generations to come. If you would rather wear it as a pendant, I'm happy to convert it free of charge, using the existing clip for the bail, preserving its character while giving it a new way to shine.
