At the centre of this beautiful antique ring is a large, wonderfully transparent blush-pink moonstone. As the ring moves, a soft silvery-blue light seems to float through the stone, appearing and disappearing beneath its delicate blush-pink surface.

And it is a substantial stone. The elongated cabochon sits in an impressive 23 x 12 mm ring head, rising high above the finger in that wonderfully dramatic way antique rings sometimes do. Set against warm 18K yellow gold, the blush colour becomes even more beautiful.

The ring carries a French owl hallmark as well as a 750 stamp and weighs 5.20 grams.

Several of the original small decorative prongs have been lost over the years (see photos), and the moonstone has a very slight movement in its setting. A complimentary professional reset is therefore included with the ring. My jeweler will create a new prong arrangement specifically to secure and complement the stone. The new arrangement will differ from the original decorative design.
