Antique openable cross pendant dated 1826, 18K

Amazing little cross, nearly 200 years old—openable, with faded engravings where the year 1826 is just barely visible. The back is beautifully worn, shaped by the many hands that once held it. Can you believe it’s still here? It’s attached to a larger faceted slide ring. All crafted in 18K yellow gold (acid tested).
