Antique French Heart Locket, 18K

Wonderful Antique locket from France with three beautiful Lucky clovers with teeny old cut diamonds. Check the little hand engraved stems and that bail! All is just so meticulously made.
Hallmarked several places for 18K including a faded horse head to the ring bail and to the inner frame and a tiny shell on the bail it self. In France, the shell (coquille) was used between 1838–1919 to mark small gold parts, and the horse head in the same period for the jewel it self.
It opens and closes easily and flawlessly and are ready to hold keepsakes for the next decades, too.
