Antique French Snake Brooch, 18K

Magnificent antique Snake brooch in the most buttery 18K yellow gold with a beautiful cornflower blue Sapphire to his head surrounded by smaller old-cut diamonds. His head is apx 8mm wide at the widest. French weevil hallmark for imported gold objects to the c hatch and to the pin. Most likely the one that indicates Paris 1838-1864.
This beauty can be made into a pendant for free if we turn the pin into the bail. It is exquisite craftmanship in excellent condition and the best Snake I’ve the pleasure to handle!
