An Edwardian Love affair
There are diamonds, and then there is this magnificent huge beauty. An antique Old European cut with a presence all its own, it catches the light, throws off a thousand little flashes and makes you wonder about the woman who wore it a century ago.
Inside, a whole little universe is going on: lots of inclusions, carbon freckles and all sorts of fascinating details. In the sunshine, the diamond comes alive, scattering flashes of light in every direction. Worn against the skin, it lights up the day, or perhaps a rather splendid evening at the ball.
Three smaller diamonds form a delicate trail above the magnificent centre stone, with the smallest stones set in milgrain-detailed bezels. The pendant is crafted in platinum and hangs from a fine platinum Figaro chain with an 18K white gold clasp. Faded hallmarks to the jump ring of the chain, supposedly French.
