Antique, Double Rosecut diamond ring, 18K

Antique, Double Rosecut diamond ring, 18K

€1,295.00Price

A special antique treasure. This ring brings together two large antique rose cuts - each approx 5mm - set in almost-triangular bezels, held in a round open basket. It’s an unusual construction most likely mid-Victorian stones, c. 1860, likely originally two separate rose-cut heads later united into a ring.

The diamonds have that soft chunky shimmer we love from early rose cuts, and they’re scarce in this size today, as so many of these were later recut into modern shapes. The diamond settings test as 17–18K, the shank is 18K, and there is a faded maker’s mark to the outside of the band.

Can be sized by my master jeweler. See more under Resizing.
