Super old table-cut diamond cluster earrings in 18K
These beautiful 19th-century earrings shimmer with the soft glow only old table-cut diamonds can give. Each cluster is entirely crafted in gold, with hand-set flat early table cut diamonds closed back setting forming a delicate mosaic that catches the light in a subtle, antique way.
The intricate rosette design and back-to-front leverbacks are typical of fine craftsmanship from the 1800s. The earrings are unmarked, which is time-correct for the period, but have been tested as 18K gold. Light yet full of presence, they are a graceful example of early old world elegance.
It is possible that the closed back plate that holds the diamonds are even older and are set afterward in the prong set rosette basket.
Please note that they feature original back-to-front leverbacks, which may require a small adjustment when putting them on compared to modern designs.
